Trim Levels
The Toyota Corolla is set to be released in seven different trim levels. They are as follows:
- Toyota Corolla L
- Toyota Corolla LE
- Toyota Corolla SE
- Toyota Corolla XLE
- Toyota Corolla XSE
Each trim level is substantially stocked with standard features, but distinct enough to feel like a serious upgrade from one to the next.
Safety Features
The 2021 Corolla delivers award-winning safety measures together with the Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 suite of driver-assist technology. It includes the pre-collision system that has pedestrian detection. The car also has lane-switch warning with steering assistance, active radar cruise control, automated bright beams, road sign recognition, lane tracing assist, and a blind spot monitor that supports rear cross-traffic alert.
Technology Features
The Toyota Entune 3.0 infotainment system comes standard on the 2021 Toyota Corolla. It consists of features such as a seven-inch touchscreen, Amazon Alexa, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. The car will also come with spacious heated seats, which will come in handy for the winter months around Hackensack.
The car also has a smart key with a push-button-start function to start the car, a JBL stereo system, a three-month all-access trial for SiriusXM that is standard to all Corolla models. The car will also have a remote connection capability that allows you to locate the car in a crowded parking lot. You can even remotely start and shut off the vehicle.
Engine, Performance, and Transmission
Apart from SE and XSE models, the Corolla sedan uses a 1.8-liter four-cylinder that gets a performance output of 139 horsepower with front-wheel drive and a CTV. The other models have a horsepower rating of 169 thanks to an available 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that pairs with an optional six-speed manual or the CTV. The hatchback has a large engine, whereas the sedan is capable of offering a hybrid powertrain.
A Driver-Friendly Fuel Economy
No matter which model Tenafly drivers choose, the 2021 Toyota Corolla features a practical fuel economy. Fuel economy varies depending on the engine, transmission, and body style, and the breakdown goes like this:
- Corolla sedan model equipped with the 1.8-liter engine and the CVT - 30 mpg city, 38 mpg highway
