Recently launched specifically for the Toyota 2021 Sienna, Toyota for Families will soon be available with step-by-step videos and written instructions on properly installing a car seat for other Toyota models. These instructions are specific to the car seat brand and Toyota model. To use, users must simply:
- Select Toyota model or VIN
- Select desired car seat location (forward-facing, rear-facing, booster)
- Enter the type of car seat or brand
If there is any confusion, there is even a "Help me Choose" option that gives you a recommendation based on your child's age and weight. What is amazing about Toyota for Families is that it also shows you crucial steps for correct installation, thus preventing errors. If the tool detects inconsistencies, it triggers you to do it again.

Statistics from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reveal that automotive accidents are a leading cause of death among American children. Still, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), proper car seat installation can reduce injury by up to 70%.
